Intinerary
LOUISIANA | 2 DAYS
Day 1 — New Orleans
Arrive in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Four-hour morning city tour on bus with guide.
Jazz luncheon at Court of Two Sisters.
Voodoo museum and walking tour through the old charm of New Orleans with our guide.
Day 2 — New Orleans
Eight-hour excursion to the Old Man River and its historic plantations (bus and over-the-road guide), including the Laura Plantation, a Créole plantation with slaves’ cabins and museum.
Visit at Houmas Plantation with lunch (included).
ALABAMA | 2 DAYS
Day 3 — Mobile
Departure for Mobile, Alabama: Crossing Lake Pontchartrain toward the State of Alabama.
A visit to the world-famous Carnival Museum and a view from outside of Colonial Fort Condé, built in 1723, and Condé-Charlotte Museum.
Day 4 — Mobile to Natchez
Mobile — Morning visit of the Clotilda and Africatown.
Natchez — Afternoon departure for Natchez, Mississippi, an antebellum town, and sightseeing along the Mississippi River.
MISSISSIPPI | 1 DAY
Day 5 — Natchez and Indianola
Morning departure for the Indian Mounds of Mississippi, and the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians and Emerald Mound.
Afternoon trip to the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretative Center, including B.B. King’s final resting place.
Visit to the Gateway to the Blues Museum (if not open, the tour will still stop for wonderful photo opportunities).
Dinner at the hotel Guest House (included) that consists of authentic Southern specialties, including what Elvis Presley enjoyed eating.
TENNESSEE | 3 DAYS
Day 6 — Memphis
Morning visit to Graceland Mansion and Museum — including Elvis Presley’s planes and grave.
Afternoon visit to the Lorraine Motel, site of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.
Afternoon visit to the famous National Civil Rights Museum.
Evening visit to Beale Street Entertainment District, with a wide variety of music and food options.
Day 7 — Nashville
Morning departure for Nashville, Tennessee, the country music capital.
Visit the historic RCA Studio B and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

The Grand Ole Opry is also in Nashville and while not included in this trip’s itinerary, we can create an additional stop. Contact if interested.
Day 8 — Lynchburg to Atlanta
Morning visit to the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Afternoon departure for Atlanta, Georgia.
GEORGIA | 2 DAYS
Day 9 — Atlanta
Guided morning tour of Atlanta — including the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park.
Afternoon visit to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum.
Day 10 — Atlanta
Prepare for departure, maybe with some last-minute shopping before leaving for
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Conclusion of the trip.
